Pastor’s Corner:
Archbishop Kurtz:
On Monday, I attended the priest assembly in Louisville, and Archbishop
Kurtz was able to join us for part of the day. He looks healthy, but the
cancer is a rare and aggressive one, and is in both his prostate and his
bladder.
His surgery to remove his bladder and prostate will be on Monday,
November 11th (Veterans Day). Please keep the archbishop and the
medical staff in your prayers. He has been a good shepherd for our
Archdiocese, and needs our love and support at this time.
St. Peregrine, Patron of the suffering from cancer, pray for us!
