NEW PASTOR’S CORNER
Blessings upon you parishioners of St. Helen and Our Lady of the
Caves. This Sunday, the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, is my first
Sunday as newly appointed pastor. Fr. Ben has done much for the
parish, and he will be missed. I have some pretty big shoes to fill,
but it is with joy that I accept this assignment. St. Helen and Our
Lady of the Caves have always been a home to me.
Today we celebrate the Most Precious Body and Blood of Jesus
Christ. When our Lord said He would not leave His Church
abandoned, He meant it. What a blessing to have Christ the
Eucharist in our midst.
Today we have a procession with the Blessed Sacrament to give
adoration and love to our humble Lord. Please make as much time
as you can to visit Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. He longs for you
there and wants to give you many graces and blessings: “Come to
Me all you are weary….and I will give you rest.” Come let us adore
Him.
