PASTOR’S CORNER
Dear Parishioners,
Joining me in serving you, our parish family, are my two parochial
vicars, Fr. Nathan Mudd and Fr. Joseph Morgan. Fr. Nathan grew
up on a farm near Hannibal, Missouri with his parents and his
younger sister. As he was growing up, he loved reading and was
thinking of writing stories, but God had other plans. Fr. Nathan
took his first vows with the Fathers of Mercy on January 1, 2012.
He was ordained a priest of the Fathers of Mercy on June 6, 2020.
Fr. Joseph grew up in a small town named Fallbrook, in the
northern county of San Diego, California. He was the youngest of
six children. From a very young age, Fr. Joseph felt called to the
priesthood. When he was four, he asked his mother what a priest
was. She said, “A soldier of Christ.” That is what he chose to be.
He took his first vows with the Fathers of Mercy on August 14,

  1. He was ordained a priest of the Fathers of Mercy on June 4,
    2022.
I hope that these young priests will enjoy their assignments here,
and I hope that you all get to know them and appreciate them as I
do. There will be a welcoming potluck for Fr. Nathan and Fr.
Joseph soon. Please watch the bulletin for more information.
    Yours in Christ,
    Fr. Joel
