PASTOR’S CORNER
Dear Parishioners,
On November 8, there will be an election for our senators and
representatives; but for the state of Kentucky there will also be the
second amendment which protects the lives of the unborn. As
Catholics, we have an obligation to be advocates for life, and we
must protect the most undefended. The Blessed Trinity is the
Author of all human life, and each human life is precious, unique
and unrepeatable in God’s eyes. I beg you to vote yes for this
amendment, because we must be one with Christ. This is not
about voting for politicians; it is about voting for a moral issue. I
will also add more hours of Eucharistic Adoration on the first Friday
of October at St. Helen Church. Adoration will go beyond 9pm on
that Friday and continue until Mass on Saturday morning. Please
consider taking one of these hours through the night to pray that
amendment 2 will pass. May God bless you all!
Yours in Christ,
Fr. Joel
P.S. Thank you for your ongoing support of the priests and deacons
of our parish. God bless you! And please continue to pray for this
first goal of mine for our parish: First, my goal for the parish is
that the parish family becomes a family of saints. Our eternal
destiny is to have a loving union with the Blessed Trinity forever.
